I'm excited to announced that Kirk was accepted to BYU. I'm sad that it was not the acceptance we were hoping for. Because of multiple snow days, the high school was delayed in sending off Kirk's official transcripts. BYU didn't receive them until after their deadline and apparently they don't make exceptions for weather. So Kirk has been accepted, but for Winter semester and not Fall. This will put BYU completely out of the running in Kirk's mind. I'm feeling very disappointed and let down by both BYU and the high school guidance office. Kirk did his part and is being penalized for things beyond his control.

Ahhh. That's so unfortunate. Dave and I both just loved our time at BYU. Well. I guess it wasn't meant to be, huh?
