Kirk received his first college acceptance letter today. He considers Heidelberg a "fall back" school, but the good news is that we now know for sure that he won't be living at home and attending junior college come next fall!
The football coach at Heidelberg realy likes Kirk too. They are a Division III school. I think Kirk is still holding out hope for a IAA school, but time will tell. He has several more applications still to submit.
I spend most of my time maintaining my high maintenance family. I'm originally from the east Bay Area of California. We've moved a great deal in 25 years of marriage, but have spent the most time in Ohio so it's probably more home than anywhere else.
I have three brothers and no sisters. Until they got married, my mother and I were the lone female voices in the house and she is my bestest friend.

Congrats!! What a nice feeling to see those letters start rolling in! I wish him luck that he'll get into the school of his choice!
