We finally heard back on Jake's blood tests. Everything is normal. No celiac disease. Now we have to decide if we're going to pursue what is causing the inflamation of the tissues in his duodedum or let it "simmer" the way we are with his throat right now. I'll consult with the GI again next week.
Kirk's surgery is scheduled for Thursday, November 6th.

Glad Jake's news was good. Sorry it doesn't answer what is going on with his body. I hope he feels better soon.
