I do not have a picture of Jacob getting on the bus for his first day of 4th grade because he didn't want his mother walking him down to the bus stop. He did permit this one shot before he ran out the door. He didn't even finish his pancakes.
After school no one was happier than Jake to eat the traditional warm chocolate chip cookies and cold milk. MMMmmmm!
Yum. I wish I had you as a mom to make me cookies when I came home from school. Is it too late to make my girls cookies after 2 weeks of school?! LOL. I am sure they wouldn't mind whatever day it was. You're a good mom.
I spend most of my time maintaining my high maintenance family. I'm originally from the east Bay Area of California. We've moved a great deal in 25 years of marriage, but have spent the most time in Ohio so it's probably more home than anywhere else.
I have three brothers and no sisters. Until they got married, my mother and I were the lone female voices in the house and she is my bestest friend.

When I first saw the last cookie photo, I thought it was a perfect coincidence that the Chocolat sign was in the shot.
But then I realized it's kinda hard to take ANY photo in your house without some kind of chocolate image making its way into the picture.
